Playing Catch Up - Adventures With Ellie

Playing Catch Up

Hello everyone!

Sorry I hadn't come and posted but as I had stated on my last post my poor hubby has the FLU and he has been my main concern.  So tonight  I am sharing both my Day 4 & 5 of my December Daily Album.

This page made me giggle as its my Sassy doing what she loves to do. Playing "Salon" usually its her
barbies that get their hair done but on this day my cousin had come to visit for the weekend. As he
was playing XBOX w/Ram guess who came along and told him that he needed his hair done.

This page came about actually with help of Ali Edwards because I was truly STUCK for
my pictures for last night until she said how about random pictures.  Then I thought well
I know something that I do every night -which is stop and look at my babies when they fall asleep
and just am in awe and feel so blessed.

Now I don't have Photoshop and even though I do want to get it someday (ha). Well
its not going to be anywhere in my budget for now so I decided to see if I could anything on Microsoft Word.
Guess what I can and did. Those are my pictures I just edited and love the effect it gave it!

Since the paper I printed the pictures were to stark I decided to crumble up the picture and then use
my distress ink to give it a vintage look.  My scrap page was originally in Vintage Cream but again
it was too stark so I added more distressed ink. I used a some Patterned Paper
from my Echo Park-Merry Christmas kit for the background.  The picture was attached to the page by
 stapling it.

My letter stickers used were from the Kit as well as some Basic Grey-Curio collection.  For my little journal I printed I used some PTI Designer Paper(Library Ledger) and then punched it out w/my large oval punch
.Added some pearls and my page was done.

Well its time to finish some dinner and check up on how my hubby is doing (he's sleeping) Tomorrow is actually his Birthday. Can you guess what Day 7 will be about :)

I will share (hopefully) both Day 6 & 7 tomorrow!  As always thank you so much for stopping by!
