Wow its been such a wonderful weekend so far I don't want it to end. How about you? For us yesterday was a fun filled Family day. We started the day by going and signing up the boys for Baseball YAY!!! Now we just need March to get here. That means Spring is getting closer right?
We went Grocery Shopping which some people don't like but me I love to do. Yes I'm serious. Ha.. After a couple of other errands we came home and I found my Two Peas in a Bucket order had come which surprised me as I was expecting it on Monday actually but was so happy to get it!
Also do you know what this weekend is? CHA is going on. As you know its where us crafters that are not there get to drool over the new products that are coming out soon to make our pockets empty Ha.
Plus what I love all the challenges & chances for little giveaway goodies too is fun. Sure I'm yet to win but it sure is fun to try and those challenges are awesome because it gives your inky fingers a workout.
For me I started off by doing a Studio Calico Challenge which was given by one of the SC team gals Sasha :
Her challenge was to scrap lift a layout of the one of the team members this month. I choose to pick one of Stephanie .
In her layout she scrapped her sweet little newborn Lucy so super sweet. What made me want to do use that layout to scrap lift. It had elements I love Kraft Card stock (yumo) Ribbon (YUMO) and keeping it simple and clean (sounds like me!) Her layout I believe was 12x12 but I wanted to give it a go again w/the 6x12 and I really like how it came out. :
Yes that is me. 8 mths pregnant w/Gabi on my Blessingway if you don't know what a Blessingway well instead of having a regular baby shower you invite your circle of important women to come and gather and give positive energy and love to the mother and upcoming birth.
Each person brings a flower for the mother and gives the reason why they chose that flower and we take all the flowers and as you can see make a crown for the mother to be to wear. We also had a journal where they wrote to me and Gabi. Oh and before you ask NO I do not have a tattoo on my belly. We had a Henna artist come and so I had that done on my belly.
I thought it was time to scrap this page don't you think? I am working slowly but can't wait till I see all my pictures scrapped. I actually found another box of pictures in my closet which will soon be showcased here once I put them into layouts.
So now go check out Studio Calico and go play along I am about to go see what other challenge I do I also want to check out some other challenges as well. Have a wonderful Sunday and as always thank you so much for stopping by!
