Sassy & Daddy Love - Adventures With Ellie

Sassy & Daddy Love

Happy Monday Everyone.

What a gorgeous Weekend if I do say so myself. There just might be hope for Spring after all! Well for today I thought I'd share one of the Layouts I made for one of The Studio Calico Challenges This past week.

For this Challenge I went with Maggie's Challenge which was to scrapbook using a smaller sized picture. I actually love doing that because I love to add different dimensions on my page and this is what I came up with  :

These 2 always have a way to melt my heart put them together and well I am just a puddle of mush I tell you.  Want to know something funny. When I was making this Layout Ms. Sassy got super mussy and for the rest of the day every time she saw the layout she would say I miss my daddy. I had to call him and everything so she could speak to him and even still that wasn't helping until he got home where she was stuck on him like glue for the rest of the evening. (They are so cute together..sigh)

So for this page I wanted to leave the focus on the pictures.  I just added a few accents here and there. To start with  I added the wonderful Scribbles Letters from KI Memories.

I had gotten a pack  in one of my Studio Calico Kits and I had to go searching for more because I love the font and words they have available.

See my little journal I put up well that is something that the awesome Nichol loves to do. She always has some journal printed on her layouts from the first time I saw it I said OH I have to try it.

I got myself some labels and did the same.(October Afternoon)  Let's just say it can get addictive Ha. I love it and I will surely be doing that again.

I pulled out my trusty Slice so I could give that label somewhere to "sit" I love my Noteworthy Card because it always has just the right shapes I need to do my journaling or adding focal point.

For the rest of the layout I just added some little ric rac that I had cut out a while again (How many of you die cut stuff and then just put them to the side for later).

The little heart was actually a sticker from Sassafras and letters by Basic Grey. Of course you know me and I went pop dot happy so I could have my extra layers
Then took some more bling from my Bazzill prize and finished up the page.
Don't forget I am giving away a GC to Studio Calico! Just go HERE for a chance to win!  I also would like to say HEY to my new followers I am so happy your here. Hope you'll stick around as I am working on having lots of fun around here in the near future.

As always thank you so much for stopping by!
