Are you a Killer? - Adventures With Ellie

Are you a Killer?

Kit Killer that is :) So remember I shared how I organized everything. Well happy to report that everything is still in order and even though I have been busy with deadlines and I might leave things out I've been able to put everything back and have an awesome clear space.

Now why the title of my post. Well this month Shimelle was the Studio Calico Guest Designer. SHE is a Killer.. an awesome one at that. I am in complete awe of how she has been sharing how she's used the kits  to create her amazing layouts. I believe she created 20-21 layouts. THAT IS INSANE well for me at least.

Which lead me to stop and think HOW many kits have I completed used up.  To be honest I think maybe 5-6 but in order to do that it's taken a LONG time. Which brought me to look into my stash of 2011 of Studio Calico goodies and so I put myself to a challenge inside a challenge if you will.

To create my layouts for the 5th year Birthday Challenges (how many times can I say that word) using only my 2011 stuff or at least the majority of it.

So here are is one of my layouts that I want to share today :

For this layout I created a  circle mask w/my Silhouette as well as the circle "All Boy" I used my Prima ink chalk(Teal Damask) and then spritz w/some Mr.Huey (Bonny Blue).  To define my circles I went ahead and outlined a few of them with my sharpie pen.

I finally pulled out some of my Studio Calico Stamps as well and used the one some of the elements (printed & cut out)  from the Stamping Summer Class that is up there as well. (Did you sign up? I can't wait to get my stamp set!)

Also this picture is from my stack of pictures I ordered from PostalPix.  I have a nice little stack that will be for the mini albums I made for the kids. I also have a few to scrapbook.

The badges are from my stash that I had gotten made & this one has Isaac's nickname. A bit of Washi as well from another kit.

I must say it did feel nice to USE my stuff and tomorrow I'll share another layout that I created as well using older kits.

As always thanks for stopping by!
