Kid Lunch Notes and a Giveaway - Adventures With Ellie

Kid Lunch Notes and a Giveaway

With the kids off to school I have been wanting to do little extra things for them as well as  have more organization when it comes to what I plan for lunches.  Including making notes for their lunch boxes.

Today I thought I'd share a quick way to create 8 little notes to have on hand and ready to put into your kids lunches.

What you will Need :

-2 Sheets of 12x12 cardstock
-embellishments ( I used extra sticker sheets I had)
-Paper punches
 -Paper cutter
-foam dots

Cut cardstock into 3 inch strips
Fold to create cards and cut to 3 inches. Keep the scraps to the side. I used them to either punch or to frame the cards. Then grab whatever embellishments you have at hand and get busy.

These are the ones I made for my son :

For him since he can read I included a few messages on the front. I know he will get a kick out of seeing them in his lunch box.

These are for my daughter :

Since she is in Kindergarten and learning to read I just used the sweet stickers and will write inside little simple notes that I know she will be able to read.
It just took me 30 mins. to make this little stash for the week.

Since I know I am always running low on adhesive or cardstock I thought maybe you'd be the same and have a little giveaway for you :

So how about you, do you have to make lunches or do your kids get lunch at school.  I am enjoying making lunches for my two younger ones as my oldest gets his lunch at school.
I will be sharing what I make throughout the week for my kids maybe we can share what we make and make the lunches a bit more exciting then PB& J  and ham & cheese sandwiches (as I was guilty of last year )
