The difference between our Family Project Life and her's of course is that it is focused on her and her school year. Although I must say that since she found out she has her own album she has brought me EVERY piece of paper she has touched and wants it included.
Sadly I can't do that but I can take pictures of them and have included some as well.

I included the highlights that happened during September. I made sure to also include Gabi's physical she needed for school w/her stats page the doctor gave me. As you can see her brothers were pretty silly that day.
To fill up the 2 spaces that were left I made a little message for her that will be able to read when she looks at her book.

I don't scrapbook - too tedious for me at this stage of life. While raising my children, I created photo albums by taking pictures, having them printed (old days of rolls of film), and putting them in the books. I also maintained comprehensive "baby books" on each of my 5 children. All this is a sort of precursor of scrap-booking.
I've never really gotten into the whole "scrapbooking" thing. I tried to do it when I was 14 and just lost interest. I do, however, keep lots of things that I find important or sentimental, and have literally thousands of photos (and hundreds of videos) from the time my son was born until now (and will continue to do the same!). He'll be 2 in December. Imagine how many photos he'll have by the time he starts school! lol
I've also opened an email address for him, to which I periodically send emails. That way, he can read them when he's old enough. :)

Very cute pages, ideas, & kindergartner! I'll be doing the same for both of my kids, except they are in 7th & 10th grade. I never could find anything that I liked or didn't take too much time to do. I sort of scrap book - I have a christmas album and a school album that I add things too all the time - lists report cards art projects, gift tags and wrapping paper
My upcoming project is to create a photo book of my children's pictures and give it as a Christmas gift to my in laws.
