Today first and foremost I'd like to say thank you to all my new visitors and followers and if you are celebrating Thanksgiving today I am hoping you have a wonderful and blessed day with Family and friends.
I'd also thought I'd share a few things that I am so very thankful for this past year.
1. My Family : This past year has been full of first for everyone and growth and it's been amazing to be able to see it happen before my eyes. From my little girl starting school, oldest starting HS &; my youngest son finding the confidence in his school work. It's a beautiful to see them flourish. Then of course there is my Husband who supports me so much with all my dreams especially my current one where when I've felt like I should just put it to the side he's encouraging me and says KEEP GOING.
2. Photography: Over the past year I have learned so much. It's as if my eyes were given new glasses to see (ha Lens joke in there ) I have learned to actually pause and frame what I want to be captured and let my images tell a story. I have been able to do the same for others which really makes me happy and humbled by it. I am of course still learning but love it so much.
3. New Adventures : Although I have been blogging since 2007 I never really thought much of what I could do with my blog and the opportunities that could come about if I actually paused and planned for it to be a venue for me to open new adventures. Hard work does pay off indeed. I look forward to the upcoming year and what it will bring.
4.Faith : For me this is something that no matter what is going on I know is my safe guard and being able to share it with my children is something I cherish and pray about always. It wasn't always the case for me and I am thankful for the fact that I have grown and love and learned the amazing and beautiful Love our Lord has for us all. Each day I try to make myself to live in the faith.
5. Documenting : Be it through my scrapbooking, photography letters I love the fact that I have the opportunity to capture memories and preserve my family and my life. I love to look back and reflect and learn from what I have gone though. It truly is a wonderful gift.
Once more Happy Thanksgiving to you and Yours!
