Project Life 2013: Week 1

I really must say that the Seafoam Core Kit & Studio Calico Project Life kit mesh together perfectly. I am so happy that I jumped into those kits. I plan to use them together each month and keep it to a minimal or at least try to.  I also have been keeping my letter stickers near by as I love to use them for statement words I want to showcase.

For Week 1 since I started doing Project Life 3 years ago always goes to my little girl as her birthday is Jan. 3rd. This year she turned 6 years old and I must say it really did turn to birthday week.

For this page as you can see it continued w/Gabifest but also little bits of what happened w/us. I started Netflix w/movies again and well actually did it so I could get Bollywood movies Ha. I wrote about how I finally got to see one of the movies I had been wanting to see as it never went on stream but was ava. on DVD. I also kept a sticker from a banana I ate that made me giggle and a good reminder to always be silly. I think it something we seem to forget w/our busy lives. (yes the "I" is crooked on purpose )

For the next 2 pages I documented pictures of the week of our Gabi I had more then 100 pictures so you can imagine how hard it was to cut down all the pictures BUT I did it.. (of course the rest I will be sending to print so I can scrapbook and make mini albums and I'm sure I'll have enough pictures for the rest of the year!)

I made sure to add a journal card but covered it up a bit using a transparency page. I also used snippets from the Project Life kit from Studio Calico.

That is our Week 1 the Gabifest. Week 2 it's back to "normal" I'll be sharing that soon. So tell me was your week one jam packed or was it low key?

Beautiful family! I love your Project Life! I took bought the Seafoam kit, and just got it the other day in fact. Excited to use it. Can't wait to see more of your layouts. Xoxo

Love seeing your pl and hearing about your week! Sometimes I put the pressure on myself to include the exciting or big moments, but need to realize that the small mundane everyday moments are just as (if not more) important!
