Saturday Project Life Blog Hop : Week 2 - Adventures With Ellie

Saturday Project Life Blog Hop : Week 2

Happy Saturday. Today I am joining Michelle w/a Saturday Project Life Blog Hop.  I'll be sharing what we were up to for Week 2 as it was a busy one. Full of repairs that were finally completed from when Hurricane Sandy passed to Just Dance 4 Family Battles.   I loved also the little bits that happened along the week.

As you can see I am loving that Seafoam Core Kit it is so fun and easy to play with. Along w/my Project Life kit from Studio Calico which is how I created my title page. The kit included the numbers "2 0 1 3" cards but I've decided to use them separately. I actually used the "3" for my Next week's title page as well.

This week included  surprise flowers from Hubs, New bunk beds for Sassy's AG Dolls, Spring Training in the backyard for Ram to get ready for baseball season, discovering there is such a thing as cupcake wine!?! -Red Velvet which of course is my favorite cupcake..hmm I did take the picture but am yet to try the wine since I'm not a wine drinker ha. (but I am SUPER curious)

It also included the before and after pictures of what our floors were looking like. I am beyond thrilled to not have carpet but tile floors. MAN cleaning has actually been fun. (shh don't tell anyone I said that) Mario Kart playing on the 3D for Sweets which took his weekend. Gabi got to watch Monster's Inc. for the 1st time. We were planning on going to the movies but something always happened but I finally was able to get it via Netflix. She so loved it and I loved watching her reactions.

As many who are doing Project Life I am guilty of Instagram itchy finger so most of my pictures are Instagram so I decided to use a Design J to highlights and document as well.  I like to go and add a few words on PSE to each picture to add a few more details. I also love Fuzel Pro app to make collages when I take multiple pictures. I did that for when I went on my lunch date w/Hubs as it helped tell a story along w/the card I used to document.

I don't drive "yet" so you will always find me at the bus stop so I decided to capture that and the journal card I think. This was a way for me to include more detail in each picture without having extra page protectors.

Thanks for stopping by and make sure to stop over to Michelle to check out the rest of the gals included in the Blog Hop.
