Shhh Don't tell them it's Leftovers

The minute the kids all leave for school my quest is to figure out what it is that I'll be making for dinner begins. Today as I was scrolling through Pinterest I paused and just looked in my fridge and though What if I use whets in here!

See a sad truth my kids nor I eat leftovers third why I usually make enough for one night because nobody will eat it unless it's soup or stew cause it tastes better but that's for another post

Today my mission was to take these ingredients and make a yummy dinner:

In my fridge I had :

-Whole cooked roasted chicken
-Head of lettuce
-Shredded cheddar cheese
-Sour cream
-Hard Taco Shells
-BBQ sauce

This is super easy just grab your handy dandy trusty crock pot  (what you don't call yours that?) shred your cooked chicken into small pieces and put it int your crock pot and add 3/4 of a bottle of BBQ sauce and 1/4 cup of water.

Set on low for 2 hours (or on high for an hour) and you've got YUUMOOO on your hands which will taste like you've been slaving for hours making this! Don't you love the magic of a crockpot!

Now put together the rest of your ingredients and you've got yourself a yummy dinner that not only is a winner but it helped clear your fridge!

Do you have any recipes that you make from leftovers that your family loves? I'd love to hear them!
