5 Foodie Goodies to Do with your Kids this Summer
Friday, July 8, 2016
As we are in full swing into Summer Vacation for our kids (in the States) and have you heard the famous "I/we are bored" yet? Today I have wanted to share a few fun little ideas that will make for some fun additional memories.
What I have learned is that you don't need allot of money to have fun and more importantly is to make memories with your kids.
So here are a few of the things I'm planning and you can do them as well with your kids!
Frozen Jello Pops
I don't know how it is by you but today would be a perfect day to make these and I already know I will be getting the goodies to make these this weekend w/the kids. Who doesn't love Jello
Can you imagine your kids faces if they were to wake up and wonder what's for breakfast and they get a tray of these! I know my kids would love it so much. I can't wait to try these out.
Treats & Paints Party
I loved this idea and I know using this theme is something my kids will enjoy. Especially since my littlest is all about painting right now and my 9 year old is a true designer plus having all ideas with the colorful treats is the extra bonus.
Movie Munchie Night
I love Friday's as they usually mean we are watching movies around here but during the Summer time we get to enjoy even more. So why not check out this link that has loads of ideas to jazz up your
popcorn! I personally can't wait to try out the Oreo Popcorn YUM!
Get Your Bread Bake On
I had been seeing this recipe for a while and finally jotted down the instructions to make it with my kids. This is fun for your kids of all ages to make together. I already know that this will bring lots of giggles as mixing and muscles will be needed so this will be awesome and then for being so patient in waiting they will be rewarded with their own fresh baked bread! How fun will that be.
I hope these ideas will inspire you to get some foodie fun ideas to do with and for your kids. If you try any of these please let me know and how it went!
What are some things you still on your list to do w/your kids this Summer?
