Don't Want To Cook but The Kids Still Want To Eat - Adventures With Ellie

Don't Want To Cook but The Kids Still Want To Eat

Don't know about you but there are days when I look at my kitchen and it feels like an enemy thinking I have to actually make dinner. By the end of the week the kitchen dinner isn't what I want to think about.

That is why I'm going to share a few meal ideas that have worked for me that involve very little effort.

The weather around here has been crazy yesterday it almost reach 80 degrees! Today it's going back to regular Fall weather and I have lots to do so I'm using I'm about to make a family favorite Sancho  everyone loves it and all I'll have to do is put it in the pot and just let it do it's magic!  (plus as it's cooking it will fill your house with the most delicious aroma.)

Since I'm sharing my crockpot love how about I share another recipe we love around here. This one will end up in some OH MAN YUM tacos! Try this out and let me know what your family thinks.

I had posted this  Pumpkin Soup not too long ago and I have to mention it again because it really is that good. With Thanksgiving around the corner this could also be a good to be included on your family gathering or to make the day after as it doesn't require too much and would go awesome with leftovers.

I hope these recipes will make your day a little easier but if all else fails. Pick up your phone and order a veggie pizza pie (well half veggie half pepperoni at my house) what matters is that no matter the busy squeeze in some family time.

This weekend is another busy weekend for us but I'll make sure it involves some unwind time where we can just lay in the living room and watch a movie together.  OH and don't forget to change your clocks!

So what's it going to be? Are you gonna order out or cook today?
