Hittng The Reset Button : Bye,Bye Sugar - Adventures With Ellie

Hittng The Reset Button : Bye,Bye Sugar

Raise your hand if you are going in a down world spiral when it comes to eating right? I can't be the only one right? Especailly with the kids being home for the Summer it seems that grabbing and eating whatever is the norm around here.

I hit goal (weight) almost a year ago. Worked SO hard to get there.  I was on a roll with my workouts and eating right.
Then a hiccup came about I thought I would be OK but truth be told the older you get it can get harder to get back on track. Plus add a busy family life it's easy to say I'll do it tomorrow.

Tomorrow becomes the next day and so the next day and come when you come to see you have gained 20 pounds that you lost.

That is where I am right now.  I am actually excited to share I am about to start a new journey for the next 4 weeks (starting next Monday) where I am going to reset myself and get back on track and I'm not going to lie it's about to get REALLY hard. That's where you come in. I want you to help me keep accountable.

My weekly check in Date will be on Fridays. I'll post my progress and anything I learned that I think I will help you as well.

Today I'm sharing a few things I'll be doing to get ready for Monday. First things first. I need to cut my sugar intake. It's bad y'all I know I have one bad sweet tooth so I need to extract it ASAP! With that, it will be hard but I am focused.

What I have learned for myself is I can't do it a bit at a time I need to do it all at once. Cold turkey.  I already warned my family I wouldn't be a happy camper for the first week when I do this but I'll be better for it.

What I have learned is I need to drink water because I had meantioned before when we think we are hungry we might now be. Our body may just be thristy.

I just recieved my box of food from Personal Trainer Food which includes 28 days of food.  I was actually contacted to review the program and give my honest opinion. It was just what I needed!

If you want to see more of what I will be eating make sure to follow me on Instagram: @eaugustin where I'll be sharing more indepth what's going on with my journey.
